Gibaek Lee from South Korea, who was our first Brompton customer, has just completed a 920km cycling trip from Brisbane to Sydney averaging about 90km per day when cycling.

Lee ordered his bike from FORM + DESIGN whilst travelling in North Queensland. By the time he reached his destination in Brisbane his "B-Spoke Brompton" (specially ordered from the factory in the UK to his specification) had arrived. We had it shipped to Brisbane for him to start his ride to Sydney. Lee ordered his Brompton with only one gear preferring the simplicity and ease of maintenance.

Travelling lite, with just basic supplies and a tent, Lee camped out most nights with an occasional stop at a Hostel along the way.

Lee has travelled extensively by bike around South Korea previously and is now embarking on the first part of his Australian tour.

Next, he will take an easier route for him and his Brompton to Melbourne preferring to fly rather than cycle. He then intends to cycle around Melbourne and then make his way to the Great Ocean Road before ending his trip and flying home to South Korea.
